Sequenced bass / resampling synthesizer

PULSE combines a dedicated sub, two core sources, a monophonic voice and four editable patterns. A/B morph assignments and triggered modulators connect synthesis to sequencing; internal capture can become a new source.

Notes and locks

Note duration is separate from gate and ratchet articulation. Four step-grid lock lanes continue to move through sustained notes.

Morph and modulation

Two modulators can cycle or run once through assigned destinations, including A/B morph position.

Capture and resample

Record the protected stereo output, trim a region and export WAV, create a user cycle or load the internal sample source.

Bass routing

A separate sub and LOW ANCHOR let the low-frequency foundation remain distinct from upper-band filtering, FORM and drive.

Working with PULSE

Create a pattern, extend a note and draw different lock values beneath it. Capture the phrase, then reuse a selected cycle or sample as source material in the same patch.

Platform
macOS 11.0 or later
Architecture
Apple silicon (arm64)
Current format
AUv2
Host
An AUv2 host running natively on Apple silicon

macOS 11.0 is the compiled minimum target. Compatibility with every host and OS combination is not established.

Temporary capture audio is not saved in presets. Committed user cycles and internal samples are saved.

Sample playback changes speed with pitch; it does not perform time stretching or pitch detection.

The final safety limiter reports 128 samples of latency.
