Wavetable / granular pad synthesizer

NEBULA combines a periodic wavetable oscillator, an internally generated granular source and a separate sub. Per-voice filtering leads into shared compression, colour, delay, scatter and reverb.

Hybrid source

Morph between wavetable and granular contributions while keeping the sub independent. The granular engine uses internal material; it does not import samples.

Three 16-step LFOs

Draw independent modulation patterns for morph, grain controls, filters and effects. Smoothing changes stepped movement into continuous transitions.

Voice and space control

Select up to 16 voices. Separate per-voice and global filters shape the sound before a stereo delay, granular scatter and reverb.

Working with NEBULA

Hold a chord, balance Wave and Grain levels, and sweep Morph. Assign one slow pattern to grain position and another to Filter A cutoff for movement at different rates.

60 factory presets.

System requirements

Version
1.0.0
Platform
macOS 11.0 or later
Architecture
Apple silicon (arm64)
Current format
AUv2
Host
An AUv2 host running natively on Apple silicon
Plugin role
Instrument

macOS 11.0 is the compiled minimum target. Compatibility with every host and OS combination is not established.

The three LFOs are shared across voices; they do not generate MIDI notes.

One-voice mode is voice allocation, not a glide or legato system. No external sample library is required.
