Audio analysis / metering

FORGE combines spectrum, spatial and history workspaces with a persistent measurement rail. It reports sample peak, reconstructed true peak, RMS, crest factor, loudness, correlation and session maxima.

Spectrum inspection

Compare combined, L/R or M/S spectra, inspect frequency and capture a session-local spectral reference.

Loudness and events

Measure momentary, short-term and integrated loudness, LRA, clip events and true-peak over events.

Spatial history

Inspect stereo density and frequency regions alongside correlation, M/S energy and held spatial extents.

Working with FORGE

Insert FORGE at the measurement point, reset it, play the complete programme and inspect the integrated values and session maxima.

System requirements

Version
1.0.0
Platform
macOS 11.0 or later
Architecture
Apple silicon (arm64)
Current format
AUv2
Host
An AUv2 host running natively on Apple silicon
Plugin role
Audio analysis effect

macOS 11.0 is the compiled minimum target. Compatibility with every host and OS combination is not established.

FORGE adds no audio latency. Visual analysis windows have their own observation time.

Captured spectra are session-local and are not embedded in DAW project state.

Loudness and peak references are comparisons, not automatic recommendations.
