Spectral correction processor

CLARION pairs an eight-node static/dynamic EQ with bounded adaptive attenuation, event-aware de-essing and harmonic hum detection. Scanning suggests candidates without automatically applying correction.

Manual correction

Use eight nodes with static or dynamic operation, filter selection and spatial routing.

Bounded adaptive processing

Set the search range, maximum targets and attenuation authority. Manual nodes take precedence in their territory.

De-ess and hum

Choose split or broadband de-essing. Hum detection supports 50 Hz, 60 Hz, automatic selection and a free fundamental.

Working with CLARION

Scan while the source plays, audition a candidate and accept only corrections you need. Set adaptive authority conservatively and compare Output, Detector and Delta.

Apple silicon (arm64)

Host
An AUv2 host running natively on Apple silicon

macOS 11.0 is the compiled minimum target. Compatibility with every host and OS combination is not established.

A detected candidate is something to inspect, not proof that a tone should be removed.

Live is zero intentional latency; Precise adds a sample-rounded 3 ms. Change latency with transport stopped.

Normal output has no limiter.
